The Website aggregates publicly available manufacturer Technical Data Sheet (TDS) data and Craft Yarn Council weight standards for informational purposes. We do not provide professional textile consulting, pattern drafting, or guaranteed knitting results.
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of StitchMatch, you agree to:
- Use the information provided solely as a reference tool, not as a guarantee of substitution success
- Always swatch and verify gauge before substituting yarn in any project
- Not rely on this Website for safety-critical textile or medical applications
- Verify all yarn specifications against current manufacturer data before purchasing

4. Intellectual Property
All content on StitchMatch, including but not limited to text, graphics, match algorithms, data structures, and page layouts, is the property of StitchMatch or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Yarn specifications derived from manufacturer TDS sheets remain the intellectual property of their respective brands. Craft Yarn Council weight category definitions are used under fair reference.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.
